As a nurse you work together with the care recipient and their loved ones. Collaboration with other disciplines and managers is also important.

In your work as a nurse, it is important that you look for the best available substantiation of your actions, or Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). You apply this knowledge in practice.

The health promoter

In society, attention is shifting from 'care and disease' to 'behavior and health'. As a nurse, you are therefore more and more concerned with promoting the health of people, where the wishes of the care recipient are paramount.

As a nurse you can work in a variety of organizations: large hospitals, small-scale teams or as an independent professional. Whatever your future work field will be, you have a coordinating role for the care recipients within your organization.
