Nursing Training Manikins in the Right Way

Do you have qualification level 4 training as a nurse? Then you can work in various positions, in a wide range of care institutions and with different types of care recipients. For example with people with physical or mental disabilities, the chronically ill, the elderly or (newborn) children. In the various positions you will work with people who need daily care due to illness or disabilities. You provide the daily care for these people. You always start by finding a patient's medical history, so that you can use this data to make a nursing diagnosis and provide care according to a nursing plan. You draw up this plan in consultation with the care recipient.

The Right Duties

Your duties include administering medicines, giving injections or creating an IV. You keep a close eye on your patients and take action if you notice their condition getting worse. You also coordinate activities related to the nursing process and report to other healthcare providers. You therefore work together and regularly speak with care providers from other disciplines. Using the Nursing Training Manikins is important.

·        The starting point for your work is that the patient / client can manage independently as much as possible. You guide and stimulate this. Sometimes you write a support plan for this. When providing care, it is important that you pay attention to the physical, psychological and social aspects of people. You take care of this together with your colleagues in a team and together with other professionals such as physiotherapists and doctors. Read more on youchooz.nl

Still others require intensive care and guidance due to severe multiple disabilities. Read more on youchooz.nl

GGZ nurse / psychiatric nurse

A psychiatric disorder affects a person's functioning. This can be reflected in physical reactions (neglect of hygiene, excessive sweating), psychological reactions (confusion, anxiety, depression) or in inability to function socially (conflicts, not making contact). As a mental health nurse you support patients by teaching them how to deal with their psychological disability and to function optimally despite their disorder; either by being able to take care of themselves again without guidance or with the help of permanent support.
