In the model it is possible to make surgical points and place surgical staples of varying depth levels depending on the type of wound being treated. The device represents the different layers of the skin such as the epidermis, the dermis, the lipid bilayer and the muscles in order to ensure that the skin of the model is as close to reality as possible.
